ABOUT US
Sexy Stuf has been a locally owned business for more than 25 years. We’re not a large corporate chain, and we believe that makes working here a little different.
We work to create a friendly, comfortable, and professional environment where employees and customers from all walks of life feel welcome. In an industry that still carries its share of stigma, we believe adult retail can be open, respectful, informative, and approachable.
If you like the idea of working for a smaller local business, getting to know the people you work with, and being part of an open-minded team, you may feel right at home here.
WORKING HERE
Good work should come with real benefits. Here are a few of the things you can expect when you join our team.
The Day To Day
Working at Sexy Stuf includes all the things you’d expect from a retail job—running the register, stocking shelves, and keeping the store looking its best.
But a big part of the job is helping customers feel comfortable. We work to create a professional, welcoming environment where customers can ask questions openly and get helpful, respectful guidance without judgment.
You’ll receive extensive product and brand training so you can understand what customers are looking for, explain their options clearly, and make informed recommendations based on their individual needs.
GROW AS YOU LEARN
The knowledge you learn may be specialized. The skills you develop aren’t.
Learn to ask the right questions, understand what someone is looking for, explain their options clearly, and help them make a confident purchasing decision.
Learn to listen beyond the initial question, identify what a customer actually needs, and use product knowledge to recommend appropriate solutions.
Build the confidence to discuss personal or sensitive topics professionally, respectfully, and without judgment—a communication skill that carries into almost any customer-facing career.
Learn how to quickly understand a large range of products, materials, features, and brands—and translate technical information into useful recommendations for customers.
GROW WITH US
We want good employees to stick around and grow with us. As you gain experience, build product knowledge, and take on more responsibility, there are opportunities to move forward.
FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES
We’re not currently hiring, but we’re always interested in hearing from dependable, professional people who may be a good fit for our team. Submit an application and we’ll keep it on file for future opportunities.
Tell us a little about yourself and your availability. We’ll keep your application on file and may reach out when a position becomes available.

We’re generally open to personal style, including tattoos, piercings, and dyed hair. Tattoos can’t contain offensive material, and personal style can’t interfere with safely performing the job.
